I spent some time this weekend playing around with logos. I had made one for myself a zillion years ago in a design class, but I really never used it. I think it’s fairly obnoxious for me to have my own logo when I don’t do anything logo worthy. (FYI logo worthy activities include cereal production and saving the rainforest). I do use a stylized signature in my personal emails, but I don’t get super fancy. As I continue my re-entry (apparently I am a space shuttle) into blogging, I’m trying to figure out exactly what I’m writing and why and I think it helps to develop my identity in a visual way (cue makeover sequence to pop song). ((GOD I LOVE PARENTHESIS)).
Am I using this blog to be funny? Or to talk about marketing? Or all the dogs? Or to share pointless life updates and lists that no one cares about? That, my friends, is what I am hoping to figure out.
So anyway here is what I’ve been working on:
I just love orange and purple together. I think the combo sums me up pretty well – orange is bright, creative, and friendly while purple is quiet, contemplative, and emotional. Birds are my jam and busting out of the cage is my take on thinking outside the box.
Now I really want some cereal.
